It was the only shooting incident at the US Capitol on that day, and the officer who killed her claimed that Ashli’s backpack factored into him killing her.

Yet, what was actually inside Ashli’s backpack?

So, does this mean that anyone wearing a backpack is at risk of being shot dead by an officer?

The Police Officers’ Attorney, Mark Schamel, stated that the backpack Ashli was wearing compounded the Officers fears.

His statement was contradictory, as he claimed that he could not see the three uniformed officers, only a hallway full of people. He also couldn’t see how far the hallway extended.

However, in case he was able to notice Ashli Babbitt wearing a backpack, he could see the three uniformed officers within the direct vicinity of her.

What actually happened?

The Officer argues that Ashli’s backpack compounded his fears and he decided to shoot and kill Ashli Babbitt.

Believing there was a slight chance that there might be a bomb or a weapon of some sort, he made a decision to be the judge, jury, and executioner, all at the same time!

But what was really inside this backpack?

A weapon of mass destruction? A bomb? A firearm or a chemical weapon, maybe?

Not even close!

Believe it or not, she had a scarf and a wool sweater inside her backpack!

Yup, killed for carrying a wool sweater and a scarf.

Sad, so sad!
