One statement left many people slack-jawed. The Biden admin omitted the fact that the Cuba protests ended communism and decided to announce it was motivated by COVID.

It went so far that Bill Kristol is bothered. Below you can read what the White House announced:

“Peaceful protests are growing in #Cuba as the Cuban people exercise their right to peaceful assembly to express concern about rising COVID cases/deaths & medicine shortages. We commend the numerous efforts of the Cuban people mobilizing donations to help neighbors in need.”

Bill Kristol’s answer: “The peaceful protestors in Cuba also seem to be asking for democracy and freedom. It would be good if”

However, Kristol isn’t the only one disgusted by the desperate attempts of the administration to control the narrative.

“No, they’re chanting LIBERTAD. Stop playing cover for communists and support the Cuban people. My god. Why is that so hard for you.”

“The U.S. State Dept would have looked less foolish by claiming Cubans were protesting lack of available Dairy Queens than by saying they’re upset about lack of COVID vaccines. We weren’t born yesterday. #CubaLibre #Cuba”

“This is a ridiculous tweet from @StateDept

People in #Cuba are protesting 62 years of socialism, lies, tyranny & misery, not “expressing concern about rising COVID cases/deaths.”

It is challenging for POTUS and its’ administration to say that, but why?

It is gaslighting to a new level. It’s sickening how they are using the virus to influence anything and everything.
