A Twitter user shared a video excerpt of a CBS News broadcast of Biden’s comments.
“It is noteworthy that the percentage of women who register to vote and cast a ballot is consistently higher than the percentage of the men who do so, end of quote, repeat the line,” President Biden clearly says. He also repeated the line.
The user who shared this video provided a follow-up post with a chunk from the Ron Burgundy movie. So, this producer screamed after writers put a question mark after the tag line, “I’m Ron Burgundy?”
“Anything you put on that prompter, Burgundy will read,” he explains. Apparently, Mr. Biden is similarly afflicted.
Oh, the White House tried to repair the damage.
“No,” exclaimed White House Assistant Press Secretary Emilie Simons in response. “He said, ‘Let me repeat the line’.”
“It is noteworthy that the percentage of women who registered to vote and cast a ballot is consistently higher than the percentage of the men who do so. End of quote. Let me repeat the line,” reads the White House version of the speech.
Twitter exploded. People are not biting into this excuse.
“Yes, I totally believe you,” the Twitter user responded to Ms. Simons, “and your boss is definitely not a vegetable.”
Biden’s attitude has sparkled a huge controversy. He is a real mess and people can’t really stand him. Our so-called President embarrasses himself every time he takes the stage. No one would listen to a crazy guy, right?
