The FBI arrested Jeremy Brown for trespassing
On September 30, the FBI arrived at Brown’s house and searched the property. He was arrested shortly after and the situation got a bit complicated.

Brown is a Green Beret and a former Republican candidate for Congress in Florida. The man was also part of the US Army in the period between 1992 and 2012 and has the Special Forces Master Sergeant rank.
Why was he arrested though?
His girlfriend said that Jeremy was charged with trespassing, a misdemeanor. The judge at Pinellas County Court declined to release him from prison. Yes, the man was arrested for just standing outside the Capitol building on January 6.
Brown didn’t even enter the building. He didn’t hurt anybody. Yes, they arrested him just because he didn’t want to be an FBI informant.
The Bureau sent 20 vehicles at Brown’s home. DHS and Pinellas County law enforcement showed up at the scene, too. The police stayed at his house for five and a half hours. The best part? FBI agents didn’t even read his rights.
Brown didn’t want to be an FBI informant. The Bureau wanted him to work on their behalf. Well, he refused it, and they arrested him.
Brown actually saved a woman’s life during the riots.
