UK Study: The Fully Vaccinated Transmit The Delta COVID 19 Variant Inside Households

The latest UK study shows that fully vaccinated people can transmit the CCP virus and the delta variant in their households.

The study was one year long, and performed by the Imperial College London, released in The Lancet! It discovered that the Delta variant is highly transmissible among the vaccinated population.

“By carrying out repeated and frequent sampling from contacts of COVID-19 cases, we found that vaccinated people can contract and pass on an infection within households, including to vaccinated household members,” Dr. Anika Singanayagam, co-lead author of the study, stated.

“The findings,” Singanayagam added, “provide some insight into why the Delta variant is “continuing to cause high COVID-19 case numbers … even in countries with high vaccination rates.”

“An analysis found that the viral load declined most rapidly for those who were vaccinated with the Delta variant compared with those who are unvaccinated.”

Due to the fact that the vaccinated population spreads the delta variant, a researcher from the study, Dr. Ajit Lavany, stated that the people needed to get vaccinated or get the booster shot to avoid death.

“We found that susceptibility to infection increased already within a few months after the second vaccine dose … so those offered a booster should get it promptly,” Lalvani said.

The study included 621 patients, where 205 household contacts tested positive for the delta variant, 38% were not vaccinated, and 28% were vaccinated.
