The Wall Street Journal reporter Michael Bender shared this in his book “Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost,” scheduled to come out in August.
According to some paragraphs that Vanity Fair obtained, we can see that Trump interrupted a WH meeting only to ask, “How am I losing in the polls to a mental retard?”
Dick Morris is a former adviser to Bill Clinton, and he moved further right and acted as Trump’s advisor. He told Trump that Dems would replace Biden.
“Dick Morris told Trump that Biden was too old and too prone to gaffes to be the nominee,” Bender stated.

According to Trump, the Dems would “realize [Biden is] old, and they’re going to give it to somebody else. They’re going to give it to Hillary, or they’re going to give it to Michelle Obama.”
Clinton wanted to run for President, even though she faced embarrassing defeat during her two previous attempts at running for President.
Michelle Obama always said that he didn’t want to run for President, even though she’s very popular among the Dems.
“The reason why I don’t want to run for president — and I can’t speak for Oprah — but my sense is that, first of all, you have to want the job,” Michelle said. “And you just can’t say, ‘Well, you’re a woman, run.’ We just can’t find the women we like and ask them to do it because there are millions of women who are inclined and do have the passion for politics.”
