Florida Governor Ron DeSantis shared something about the rumors that he intends to run for 2024 president. Donald Trump was stepping up for his efforts to run again. DeSantis’ fans were disappointed when he shared that the rumors about his candidacy were nonsenses.
“All the speculation about me is purely manufactured,” DeSantis said during a press conference on Tuesday. “I just do my job. You know, we work hard. Obviously, our state has led on a lot of things, including this, and now other states are copying us. But that’s what it’s really all about, just helping folks here.”
“I hear all this stuff, and honestly, it’s nonsense. So, you know, I really don’t know what to say to those rumors,” DeSantis continued.
It resulted from Jason Miller’s campaign where he said that a presidential run by Trump in 2024 was a certainty.
“I would say somewhere between 99 and 100 percent. I think he is definitely running in 2024,” Miller said. “I had a good conversation with him last night. I’m going to go see him in another couple of days here.”
Also, Trump identified that he considers DeSantis his running mate.
“I would certainly consider Ron,” Trump told Fox Business host Stuart Varney back in June. “I was at the beginning of Ron, I was the first one to endorse him when he came out as a congressman that a lot of people didn’t know, and my endorsement helped him tremendously, and I know him very well. He’s a great guy.”
“We have other great people,” he said. “I mean, you look at some of … the Republican people that have done a great job with states, and you don’t see that with the Democrats. I mean, they kept their states closed and locked down, and the schools are closed. It’s just absolutely outrageous how they get away with it.”
