Once and for all, the defense lawyer of former President Trump David Schoen debunked the ‘fine people hoax’.
On Friday, during day 4 of the Senate impeachment trial, Schoen obliterates this hoax, forcing mainstream media to air Trump’s remarks in full context for the first time ever.
The entire campaign of Biden was centered around the claim that Trump called neo-Nazis and white nationalists “fine people” in the summer of 2017.
The hoax was supported by the mainstream media that has repeatedly played the video while cutting out crucial moments that explain the real context of his statement.
Namely, they left out the part where he says “And I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally”.
Once again, Schoen played a video clip that the Democrat managers showed, followed by what they so conveniently cut out.
He began:
“This lie traveled around the world a few times and made its way into the Biden campaign talking points, and ended up on the Senate floor.”
Before he played the video, he noted:
“The Charlottesville lie. ‘Very fine people’ on both sides? Except that isn’t all he said. They knew it then, and they know it now. Watch this.”

Trump was not referring to white nationalists, and even Jake Tapper knew it:
Conservatives cheered the epic thrashing of the fake news:
Yes! Trump's legal team is exposing the Charlottesville "fine people" lie. The news media still pretend it was Trump's endorsement of white nationalist and extremist groups, when it was actually a condemnation of it. Boom!

If Trump's attorneys did nothing else, exposing the media and Democrats' "both sides" Charlottesville lie was worth it. Shows him explicitly condemning white nationalists but defending people who don't believe in destroying statues.

Huge development. The Charlottesville Lie has poisoned American public life for years, and today Team Trump forced the biased platforms to broadcast his full remarks, which plainly condemned bigotry. https://t.co/GMCqd8NGhX

Jimmy here thinks showing a video in its full context is "whitewashing" the comments.
Makes sense coming from CNN https://t.co/qyk8GfQ2VX

The media should be held accountable for twisting the truth and thus ruining people’s reputations and lives!
