Leth Agencies, the transit agent at the Suez Canal for CNBC, stated that Ever Given was refloated on Monday, and it is successfully directed to Great Bitter Lake.
The ship got stuck in the canal on March 23, 2021, preventing 450 boats from crossing the waterway. According to Bloomberg News, this incident caused damage worth millions of dollars.
Besides the effect on the global economy, the ship tremendously influenced the U.S. military by stopping vessels from moving.
