Many parents supported the governor and raised their concerns about these hot topics. But, one trans teacher at a preschool shared their opinion online!

The teacher, Mr. Mica, recalled how the students started to recognize her as being a man. Mr. Mica was born a female. She stated, “So today it was full of little happy gender euphoria moments. I got called Mr. Mica a lot today. Well, completely fine. And that was really heartwarming that the kids just got it. But my favorite reaction, and it sums me up so well I feel like, is I was in the new classroom, and I took off my mask to blow my nose. And I just hear a kid loudly whisper. ‘Oh, she’s a boy.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, you got it, kid. You totally got it.’”

State Farm auto insurance supported Florida agents in donating books pertaining to transgederism to the local libraries.

The Washington Examiner, “The three books, A Kids Book About Being Transgender, A Kids Book About Being Non-Binary, and A Kids Book About Being Inclusive, contain various descriptions about gender and identity meant to disprove the notion that gender is the same as biological sex and establish that it is therefore changeable.”

The email added, “The project’s goal is to increase the representation of LGBTQ+ books and support our communities in having challenging, important, and empowering conversations with children age 5+. This is a fantastic way to give back and an easy project that will help support the LGBTQ+ community and to make the world around us better.”

Director Will Hild said that all three books were barred from public schools. “We would hope State Farm would…cooperate with the governor’s office or law enforcement in [Florida] and retrieve any of these books that may have been donated to public schools that by law now do not belong there.”
