This legislation makes a first-degree felony offense for abortions that would happen 30 days after any Supreme Court decision overturning Roe.
Online excitement was present, and the pro-life society of St. Sebastian tweeted:
‘’Prayers that Gov. Abbott will sign the bill soon!’’

It is refreshing seeing the pro-life cause triumph at a statehouse. This bill will cause a relief in society after the weight from the group that worships the altar, ‘’my body, my choice.’
HB 1280 came after Texas’ heartbeat bill this month, which bans abortions once the fetal heartbeat is detected.
“This bill ensures the life of every unborn child with a heartbeat will be saved from the ravages of abortion,” Abbott stated.
The heartbeat bill is now LAW in the Lone Star State.

These two bills are like Texas’s aspirational legislative effort.
Lawmakers are doing everything in their power under the present circumstances and signal to their constituents that they must implement moral solutions if the federal government cuts their road.
Indeed, part of the problem is in Roe’s language, which allows abortion as a mother’s right to privacy concerning marriage and family life choices. Regarding rational choice, marriage, and family, Roe has been a failure.
However, we must understand that Roe’s semantics doesn’t represent the crux of the issue, and bear in mind that pro-abortion politicians aren’t the primary foes of the unborn. But, the culture that celebrated the death of unborn children is the greatest evil!
Americans defend their right to live!
With Texas’ new bills, we are one step closer to the end of a regenerative culture taking root and growing among the county.
