Sen. Rand Paul spoke in the name of Americans
The Senator is a vocal member of Congress. He doesn’t think twice before bringing up important topics, including “taboo” issues such as transgenderism.

In recent months, Rand talked about the need to stop biological males who claim they are women from competing in all-female sports. Biden and his Democrats are trying to pass the “Equality Act” and destroy the effort of progress feminists who have fought for women’s rights for years.
Paul brought the subject up again during the hearing of Biden’s nominee for the Department of Health and Human Services, Dr. Rachel Levine, who happens to be a transgender, too.
The Senator wanted to know more about Levine’s statements in which she advocates for supporting toddlers as young as three to pick their sex and allow them to act on their choices with sex change therapies and surgery.
The National Pulse released an article on Levine’s comments:
Most alarmingly, Dr. Levine has advocated for sex changes for pre-pubertal people, otherwise known as “children.”
A professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at the Penn State College of Medicine, Levine has given lectures in various settings since at least 2012 on how to perform sex changes and gender conversion therapy on children.
According to Levine, children ought to be given the latitude to choose their own gender. Levine has advised adults to “try not to force them one way or other [sic]” and instead to follow the child’s lead.
Paul didn’t stop here.
“Dr. Levine, do you believe that minors are capable of making such a life-changing decision as changing one’s sex?” Paul, himself an ophthalmologist, asked.
“Transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field with robust research,” Levine responded, as Paul rightfully noted ‘she’ was avoiding his question.
“Do you support the government intervening to override a parent’s consent to give a child puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and/or amputation surgery of breasts or genitalia?” Paul pressed.
Levine said, “transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field” and added that she would gladly take part in discussions about it after her confirmation.
“Let it go to the record that the witness refused to answer the question,” said Paul.
The Kentucky Republican said that most kids with “gender dysphoria” get over it and “stick” with their birth sex. Liberals brought up the term to discuss “a phenomenon that affects a percentage of the total population that barely registers.”
The Wall Street Journal reported that 80 percent of children with gender dysphoria stay with their birth gender as confirmed by studies.
Levine keeps ignoring facts just to move on with her initial plan.
