Psaki Mocks People Concerned About Border Crisis; “They Need Something More To Do”

According to Psaki, Republicans have to work more on other things than attacking Harris for not visiting the U.S. – Mexico border.

“I’ve seen that, and they need more to do, I think,” Psaki replayed. “The confusion is perplexing to me,”
“That’s obviously a role that’s focused on diplomacy, focused on working with these countries, with these leaders.”
“The current president, who was vice president, he ran point on the Northern Triangle when he was vice president,” Psaki continued. “And that’s obviously a role that is focused on diplomacy.”
“The vice president has had a number of those conversations at the leader level,” White House Press Secretary stated. “And having a discussion about what steps can be taken, whether it’s improving the personnel and the approach they each take at the border, we’ve seen some steps they’ve taken on that front, or whether it is working with them to determine how we can provide the best assistance to address the root causes over the long term.”
Psaki also noted that Harris’s diplomatic role is connected to the position at the southern border. This situation is like it is because if the root causes of the immigrant crisis aren’t addressed, that place will continue to be the spot with an even higher number of illegal immigrants.
According to Psaki, the border crisis cannot be handled only by one woman, and the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, has a crucial role.
On March 24, Biden stated that Harris would lead the administration’s efforts at the southern border. Since then, Harris hasn’t visited the ‘’crime scene’’!
On March 24, NBC News shared a piece of writing named ‘’Biden tasks Harris with ‘’stemming the migration’’ on the southern border.’’
Only Harris is responsible for the border situation, but she hasn’t visited it, at least to hold one press conference.
CNN reported: ‘’internal government calculations from the Biden administration project that officials expect to encounter an estimated two million people at the border in 2021.’’
“U.S. Border Patrol encounters are also expected to be largely made up of single adults, who are being turned away at the U.S. southern border as soon as they’re encountered under a public health order, and as a result, might also account for repeat crossers,” the report continued.
Newt Gingrich, the former Speaker of the House, declared that Harris was in charge of this situation because she would remain asleep and won’t do anything.
“If you look at a piece of history, sometimes the obvious is accurate,” Gingrich declared. “They wanted Harris to be in charge of the border because they knew she wouldn’t do anything. This is not a mistake, this is why they refuse to call it a crisis.”
