Pope Francis supports immunization. Now he goes against traditionalism, suggesting that the Catholic Church should be “an open place where everyone feels welcome.”

The Pope’s statement was followed by protests outside the church. Unvaccinated people are unable to enter “the place where everyone feels welcome.” Italians imposed “green passes” also known as “COVID vaccine passports.” Well, Italians won’t get these.

Pope Francis “kicked off his much-talked-up 2021-2023 Synod on Synodality” and attacked traditionalist Catholics. He called for the Church to embrace the contemporary “zeitgeist” and become “an open place, where everyone feels at home and can participate,” as per Jules Gomes of Church Militant.

“As the Pope was preparing his remarks, Italian police attacked mostly peaceful demonstrators” armed with “water cannons, tear gas and batons.”
