They cut the video so the public wouldn’t see the knife in Bryant’s hands moments before she was shot dead.

NBC edited the 911 call to remove the part where the caller says someone is “trying to stab us.”
NBC anchor Lester Holt started his segment with a photo of a smiling Ma’Kiyah Bryant. Yes, they tried to make her look innocent.

Newsbusters reported that ABC and CBS were honest. Both outlets showed the part where Bryant tries to stab another girl.

“These grown girls over here trying to fight us, trying to stab us,” the person said.
Columbus mayor released the police bodycam footage. We can see Bryant attempting to stab a girl as the officers shot her. It was a matter of moments.
