LeBron was able to remove the racist remark before the police arrived at the spot. So, LeBron compared himself to Emmett Till’s mother. Emmett was killed at 14 for whistling at a white woman.

James Whitlock of the “Fearless” podcast had something to say about this scandal. According to him, LeBron orchestrated this scandal to promote himself and his business.

Whitlock made an appearance on Steve Bannon’s “The War Room” and talked about the incident and LeBron’s effort to “cement” his status as a social justice warrior. Whitlock also wrote, “James, in my opinion, was lying. The hate he whined about was a hoax intended to garner sympathy and elevate his brand as a social justice warrior. I believed that in 2017, and I believe it, even more today, analyzing his reaction to the murder of Ethan Liming in the parking lot of James’ celebrated, Akron, Ohio, I Promise School.”

LeBron said, “It just goes to show that racism will always be a part of the world, a part of America. And hate in America, especially for African-Americans, is living every day. And even though that it’s concealed most of the time, even though people hide their faces and will say things about you, and when they see you, they smile in your face. It’s alive every single day.”

He added, “I think back to Emmett Till’s mom, actually. It’s kind of one of the first things I thought of. The reason that she had an open casket is because she wanted to show the world what her son went through as far as a hate crime and being black in America. No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black in America is tough.”

Whitlock also discussed the murder of the white 17-year-old honor-roll student. He was killed by three African-American men. What did LeBron do? He wrote, “Our condolences goes out to the family who lost a loved one!! My the heavens above watch over you during this tragedy! Pray for our community!”

It didn’t end here. Whitlock was shocked by the lack of compassion. He said, “LeBron wore a hoodie to protest the death of Trayvon Martin, a teenage boy in Sanford, Florida. LeBron ranted that black people are hunted every day after two white men shot Ahmaud Arbery. LeBron put a target on the back of a white Ohio police officer after he shot a teenage black girl who was attempting to stab a black woman.”
