The unarmed US veteran died on January 6. She was shot and killed inside the Capitol building.
We don’t even know the name of the person who shot Babbitt. Some say it was Capitol police officer Michael Byrd. Democrats didn’t say a word about this. They hide the identity of the shooter. Why was Babbitt shot?
They say there is an investigation into the shooting. However, they haven’t filed any charges. We don’t know the details of the report.
Here’s what the Justice Department said:
Ms. Babbitt was among a mob of people that entered the Capitol building and gained access to a hallway outside “Speaker’s Lobby,” which leads to the Chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives. At the time, the USCP was evacuating Members from the Chamber, which the mob was trying to enter from multiple doorways. USCP officers used furniture to barricade a set of glass doors separating the hallway and Speaker’s Lobby to try and stop the mob from entering the Speaker’s Lobby and the Chamber, and three officers positioned themselves between the doors and the mob. Members of the mob attempted to break through the doors by striking them and breaking the glass with their hands, flagpoles, helmets, and other objects. Eventually, the three USCP officers positioned outside the doors were forced to evacuate. As members of the mob continued to strike the glass doors, Ms. Babbitt attempted to climb through one of the doors where glass was broken out. An officer inside the Speaker’s Lobby fired one round from his service pistol, striking Ms. Babbitt in the left shoulder, causing her to fall back from the doorway and onto the floor. A USCP emergency response team, which had begun making its way into the hallway to try and subdue the mob, administered aid to Ms. Babbitt, who was transported to Washington Hospital Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
They didn’t even mention the verbal warning to Babbitt or the efforts to subdue her without the help of deadly weapon.
Americans still ask questions about Babbitt’s body. There’s a shocking video of her family “laying her to rest.” It’s viral and it only adds fuel to the fire.
Where’s the body? What happened to Babbitt’s body after Meaww had a story asking “Where is her body?” on January 10th.
“Four days after her death, people can’t stop wondering where her body currently is. There seem to be no reports apart from the fact that her death is currently under investigation. The Justice Department is opening an investigation into the shooting. Michael Sherwin, the acting US Attorney for the District of Columbia, told CBS News his office has opened a formal, federal excessive force investigation. The probe will be handled by the office’s civil rights division.”
Judicial Watch has a request from the DC Medical Examiner. They request that Ashli Babbitt be cremated a couple of days after she was shot.
Bizpacreview.com reported that the Washington D.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) submitted the request to cremate the Trump supporter two days after her tragic death.
This and much more was discovered in over 1,100 pages of documents from the OCME obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit they filed in April.

The Bizpac piece also details the mystery surrounding Babbitt’s death.
“The continued secrecy and delayed release of information about the shooting death of Ashli Babbitt are suspicious and smacks of politics,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a statement to Just The News.
“That Americans still have no information about who killed her or any police report about her death is a scandal of epic proportions,” he added.
OCME officials tried to restrict access to Babbitt’s case.
“Due to the high-profile nature of case 21-00106, Dr. Diaz has requested limited access to this case. Please create a secure folder on the photo server for case 21-00106 and provide access only to the following OCME staff: Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Diaz, Anna Francis, Matthew Brow,” forensics photographer Matthew Brown reportedly wrote in a Jan 7th. email to several of his OCME colleagues.
Dr. Diaz refers to OCME deputy chief medical examiner Francisco Diaz, the one who examined Babbitt’s body.
