Barack Obama likes to talk about politics and stuff, but he forgets one simple detail. People don’t like him. His time is up. Obama had enough time to do the right thing for this country, and he spoiled it all. Americans thought that Obama would offer a completely different thing. A clearer perspective maybe? It didn’t happen.

The former President spoke about politics on Monday. He said that Congress members have to pass voting rights legislation before the midterms in 2022. Yes, he has a backup plan. According to him, American democracy will be at a huge risk if Congress doesn’t pass this law.
“We can’t wait until the next election because if we have the same kinds of shenanigans that brought about Jan. 6, if we have that for a couple more election cycles, we’re going to have real problems in terms of our democracy long-term,” Obama said during a call with grassroots supporters alongside his former Attorney General Eric Holder.
Obama had the courage to say that the debate over the voting rights bill, also known as the For the People Act, was a good reason for him to take part in the political debate. Former Presidents don’t really do this and Obama knows it.
“Since I left office I’ve tried to make a policy not to weigh in on the day-to-day scrum in Washington,” Obama said, according to The Hill. “But what’s happening this week is more than just a partisan bill coming up or not coming up to a vote.”
Donald Trump is a winner. Joe Biden is a loser. Obama is a loser. Hillary Clinton and her gang lost the battle.
The more Obama panics, the better for you and me. Obama is well aware of the fact that Democrats won’t be able to win the elections. Their “cheat train” won’t work this time.
Of course, the bill doesn’t enjoy much support at the moment. Ten Republican senators will have to join Democrats to make this happen. Here’s a catch. Not a single Republican senator has backed the bill.
Pelosi and her friends will try to push the bill through despite all the changes made at the request of Joe Manchin. The senator is the most conservative leftist in Congress. Obama notes that the changes to the bill were created by “the most conservative Democrat in the Senate, or maybe in Congress — Joe Manchin of West Virginia — to come up with common-sense reforms that a majority of Americans agree with, that Democrats and Republicans can agree with.”
“Despite what you may have heard, we believe there is a path forward for this bill to get passed,” said Holder. He is now chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. Holder doesn’t elaborate on his next move.
Obama also attacked the filibuster, adding that it isn’t in the US Constitution and “allows a determined minority of senators to block legislation supported by the vast majority of Americans.”
