‘God Herself’: Top Democrat Goes Full Leftist, Claims God Is Female

During an interview on MSNBC about the recent impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell suggested God is a woman.

In a conversation with host Nicole Wallace about Democrats’ decision not to subpoena witnesses, she went full left-wing and referred to God using female pronouns.

“The choice was, do we chase those people, not knowing what they’re going to say, to the courts for years, or do we go forward with the powerful, thundering case that we have? And also knowing that Mitch McConnell was already telling us that he believed the challenge was a jurisdictional one,” Swalwell said.

“So we could have called God herself, and the Republicans weren’t going to be willing to convict, so we’re proud of the case we have put forward,” he continued.

There are few things to be analyzed here.

First, the conviction of Trump failed as he was acquitted for a second time.

The final voting result was 57 guilty to 43 not guilty. For a conviction of Donald Trump, two-thirds majority was required.

Secondly, there are around 170 references to God in the Bible as “Father.” And Jesus always referred to God as His “Heavenly Father.”

The website clears that “Scripture contains approximately 170 references to God as the ‘Father.’ By necessity, one cannot be a father unless one is male. If God had chosen to be revealed to man in female form, then the word ‘mother’ would have occurred in these places, not ‘father.’ All the evidence contained in scripture agrees that God revealed Himself to mankind in a male form.”

Thirdly, it’s certainly awkward and inappropriate to see Swalwell giving lectures after he just got caught in a secret relationship with a Chinese spy.

House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy called for him to be removed from the Intelligence Committee, after a briefing by the FBI on the relationship between Swalwell and the spy, named Christine Fang or Fang Fang.

“It only raised more questions. The one thing that was fundamentally answered was, he should not be on Intel,” McCarthy told reporters. “I had questions about whether he should. That’s the one question that was answered: he should not be on Intel.”

His comments were consistent with those penned by House Republicans who signed a letter in which they demanded his removal from the committee.

Fang fled the United States as the FBI was investigating her, and she had also developed relationships with other politicians from California and had been sexually involved with two mayors from the Midwest.

Even with that going on, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave Swalwell her support last month, and said she does not have any doubts about him.

“I don’t have any concern about Mr. Swalwell,” Pelosi said. “There are those who believe, and I am among them, that we should be seeing what influenced the Chinese – I have been fighting them, as you know, for over 30 years.”

“I think we should make sure that everybody knows what they are being subjected to. But I don’t know that it means that we have to background check every intern who comes into the Capitol,” she added.

“When that was made known to the members of Congress, it was over,” she finished. “That was the end of any communication with those people.”
