In November, the Federal Aviation Administration reported about 5,000 incidents in 2021. Most of the incidents were caused by mask mandates. So, the FAA turned 37 of these to the FBI just because it can’t prosecute criminal cases.
Following one of the most recent incidents, a Delta flight going to LAX had to make an emergency landing in Oklahoma City. Wonder why? One of the passengers started screaming about BLM and slaves. He even assaulted a flight attendant and an air marshal.
Ariel Pennington, 35, was sent to Oklahoma City Jail following complaints on disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. There’s an ongoing investigation and the Washington man may face charges.
The flight captain said Pennington assaulted one of the flight attendants. When a federal air marshal tried to step in, Pennington didn’t back down.

A woman sitting two seats behind Pennington shared a video of him being cuffed.
“So… this just happened on our plane from D.C. to LAX two seats in front of me. He was yelling about BLM and being enslaved by the white man. We had to emergency land in Oklahoma so the federal police could come to take him off. Our five-hour flights turned into 8 hours,” the caption read.
“Delta applauds the quick action and professionalism of the crew and federal air marshals on Delta flight 342 from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, which diverted to Oklahoma City after a customer became unruly and was removed from the flight by local law enforcement,” the airline said in a statement. “We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.”
