There aren’t studies on children that show a reduction in hospitalization and death with a booster shot.

The FDA authorized the shot on Friday for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. It came as a result of the approval from the panel of experts about the shots from Moderna and Pfizer.

The young children could get the shot next week, Biden said.

Florida’s surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, shared, “We expect to have good data that the benefits outweigh the risks of any therapies or treatments before we recommend those therapies or treatments to Floridians,” Dr. Ladapo said. “That is not going to change. I don’t think that is particularly radical. I think it’s very sensible. From what I have seen, there is just insufficient data to inform benefits and risks in children. I think that’s very unequivocal.”

The basis for the decision suggested that the vaccines had 80% efficiency – in 10 cases.

442 children under the age of 4 have died with C-19. We don’t know the comorbidities the children had.
In the video below, Senator Paul said, ‘’The government recommends everyone take a booster over age five. Are you aware of any studies that show a reduction in hospitalizations or death for children who take a booster?”

“Right now, there’s not enough data that has been accumulated, Senator Paul, to indicate that that’s the case. I believe that the recommendation that was made was based on the assumption that if you look at the morbidity and mortality of children within each of the age groups….”

‘’Assumption’’ can’t be used when doctors make life and death decisions for the people.

“Americans should all know this: There are no studies on children showing a reduction in hospitalization or death with taking a booster. The only studies that were permitted, the only studies that were presented, were antibody studies. So they say if we give you a booster, you make antibodies. A lot of scientists would question if that’s proof of the efficacy of a vaccine.’’
