CNN is not the only one in trouble!

Yet, another left-wing cesspool is going down as well- Hollywood!
Hollywood is in a far worse position, to be honest, and it is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hyper-politicization, and a lack of talent and imagination!
What makes it in an even worse situation is the fact that it has lost almost all of its revenue, while CNN has lost almost half of the viewers!
Yup!
In 2020, box office earnings were $2.2 billion, down 80% from $11.4 billion in 2019. Ouch!
Back in 2019, the theatrical and mobile entertainment markets in the United States produced $36.1 billion in revenue.
Yet, as a result of the pandemic shutdowns, revenue fell to $32.2 billion last year. It’s the lowest profit since 2017 when $32 billion was received.
On the other hand, there is a massive growth in streaming and video-on-demand services. Streaming generated $20 billion in revenue in 2019, up from $26.5 billion the previous year.
Moreover, for the first time, China’s earnings exceeded those of North America. China’s entertainment industry earned $3 billion compared to $2.2 billion in the United States.
Japan followed with a $1.3 billion take.
Hollywood Reporter continued on the MPA report:
“In his letter presenting the 60-page-plus report, MPA chairman-CEO Charles Rivkin said, “The past year was difficult for the global economy, and for virtually every aspect of our daily lives: the stunning loss of life, the toll on our frontline employees, the catastrophic and widespread loss of jobs and businesses, and the nearly complete shutdown of many industries.”
“However, home and curated entertainment boomed during an otherwise trying year for theatrical exhibition and our industry as a whole. The good news didn’t stop at apartments, laptops, and other personal gadgets. Audiences never lost their appetite for the theater experience, as recent stories have shown, and drive-in theaters saw their greatest returns in decades.”
So, it seems that those elitist “woke” actors and actresses are in deep trouble now as well!
They kept pushing for these lockdowns and woke policies, so they now reap what they’ve sown.
