Did he really commit suicide? We noticed all those cryptic messages. McAfee’s lawyer added fuel to the fire.

In the final appeal, McAfee said the US government “wants to make an example out of me.” He said this right before hanging himself in the cell on Wednesday.

The 75-year-old tycoon died a few hours after a judge ordered his extradition to our country. McAfee was wanted for tax evasion and fraud.

Spanish authorities say there was no foul play. However, McAfee’s social media activity suggests that he would never go “a la Epstein.”

‘I’m at ease here.’ I have acquaintances. The meal is delicious. Everything is fine. Know that it will be no fault of mine if I hang myself like Epstein,’ McAfee tweeted on October 15.

The US Justice Department arrested McAfee on October 3. The tycoon was trying to catch a plane to Istanbul and used his British passport.

Last month, McAfee told the judge that if convicted in the US, he would spend his life in a cell.

“I am hopeful that the Spanish court will recognize the inequity of this,” he said, noting that the US is trying to make an example out of him.

His lawyer, Javier Villalba, was shocked. McAfee’s wife was shocked. The family wants the lawyer to investigate McAfee’s death.

“I was in frequent contact with him on the phone,” Villalba claimed. “At no point had he displayed any specific concern or clue that could have led us to believe anything had occurred.”

The lawyer added, “This has been like pouring cold water on the family and his defense team. No one saw it coming; he hadn’t even said goodbye.”

McAfee’s tweets were making people talk for a really long time. Everyone is so shocked right now.

In August 2019, Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his prison cell in Manhattan. There are so many theories about his death.

In 2010, McAfee sold his company to Intel. It was sold for $7.7 billion.

For many years, McAfee lived in self-impose exile. He was sailing across the globe in his Caribbean yacht.

In 2012, McAfee was charged with murder of a neighbor in Belize. The tycoon disputed the homicide, and a Florida judge ordered him to pay $25 million in 2015. McAfee was found liable for the death of Gregory Viant Faull.

McAfee earned a lot of money over the past decade. However, US officials say he didn’t pay his taxes. McAfee was also accused of defrauding Twitter followers “by promoting cryptocurrencies to inflate price and profit.”

The tycoon said he knows some information that may destroy the US administration.

A Grand Jury indicted the tycoon on tax-related allegations, so he fled the US in January 2019.
