Joe Biden shuts down tradition
The Biden regime is here and now the President is going after the Fourth of July. According to recent reports, Biden is banning fireworks at Mount Rushmore. Far-left liberals hate the monument and this is the most recent attack.

In the letter from the National Park Service, the request for special fireworks show was rejected. Why? It was rejected due to “health and safety risks” related to COVID-19.
Parks Service Regional Director Herbert Frost sent the letter to the state’s director of tourism.
“Potential risks to the park itself and to the health and safety of employees and visitors associated with the fireworks demonstration continue to be a concern and are still being evaluated as a result of the 2020 event.”
Donald Trump did things differently last year. He did a speech to defend our values and opposed the cancel culture. Liberals are doing their best to erase our history. They have already created their version.
Via The Hill, “National Park Service rejects request for July 4 fireworks at Mount Rushmore”:
“The National Park Service (NPS) has denied a request from the state of South Dakota to hold a fireworks display at Mount Rushmore to celebrate the Fourth of July this year.
NPS Regional Director Herbert Frost wrote in a letter to the head of the state’s tourism department that NPS is “unable to grant a request to have fireworks at the Memorial.”
“Potential risks to the park itself and to the health and safety of employees and visitors associated with the fireworks demonstration continue to be a concern and are still being evaluated as a result of the 2020 event,” Frost wrote. “In addition, the park’s many tribal partners expressly oppose fireworks at the Memorial.”
“These factors, compiled with the COVID-19 pandemic, do not allow a safe and responsible fireworks display to be held at this site,” he added.
Frost noted that although progress is being made in fighting the pandemic, the situation is still “dynamic” and said it is “only prudent to make plans based on the best available science and public health guidance available today.”
We believe this move was also a jab at South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. Well, liberals have nothing on her. Their pressure didn’t stop her from doing the right thing.
The iconic monument in the Black Hills has the faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. Yes, we remember how liberals tore their statues down and even removed them from schools and public facilities.
Let’s not forget that Biden plans to “reward” Americans by allowing them to gather in small groups to celebrate the big day. Of course, this will happen only if they listen to Dr. Fauci and “follow the rules.”

Biden may be trying to erase history, but he will never stop us from celebrating such a great day. We believe South Dakota will find a way to celebrate Independence Day.
