Antifa Rioters Burn Portland Apple Store, Fire Guns From Cars

Antifa strikes again
Things got out of control, and Antifa warriors stand behind this mess. Portland Police Bureau officers had yet another sleepless night. Unfortunately, officers were unable to stop riots as Antifa took over the city. Masses of rioters set up fires and drove around the city with guns pointed out of their windows. Gunfire, arson, riots, fire… Antifa did it all.

That’s not all. Antifa rioters set one of the Apple Stores on fire. This was the third declared riot in five days. Portland police officers had to deal with multiple riots in the past couple of weeks. Portland is on fire and the police is unable to stop this. It looks like the scene from a horror movie.
Portland Police Bureau officials issued another warning Friday night. They warned citizens that Antifa’s planned “Direct Action” may lead to a “high fire danger.” That’s exactly what happened.
The police knew that Antifa planned something like this at Director Park. These events are followed by the destruction of properties and violent riots always get out of control.

Here’s the official statement:
“The Portland Police Bureau is aware that individuals are planning a so-called “direct action” event this evening at Director Park (with a 9 p.m. march). Such events have historically included wanton destruction of public and private property, violence, and the active threat of harm by thrown or propelled objects, fire, and impact weapons. Similarly advertised events promoted and then engaged in arson and riots.”

There was a big warning, but Antifa rioters did their thing. Their plan worked out and they caused irreversible property damage in the Downtown District. Friday night was a terrible night for us all.

Rioters set a portable toilet on fire. It was outside the Apple Store late Friday night. As expected, the fire spread to the outside of the Apple store and caused terrible damage.
There was a separate protest group in Portland’s downtown tonight. They broke windows at stores like Nike & banks like First Republic. They set dumpster fires and this particular fire—which started with construction equipment by the Apple Store—spread aggressively. pic.twitter.com/1oN2VTeyIM

Portland Fire & Rescue units were able to extinguish the fire before they caused more damage at the store.
Antifa didn’t stop here. Arsonists also set multiple fires in other areas and the police had to declare a riot.

Police officers stood by and watched rioters vandalizing stores in the big city. At least several hundred people marched from Directors Park and started breaking windows of local businesses. Vandals caused extensive damage and even applied graffiti. Windows at the First Christian Church were broken, too.
“A separate group of an estimated several hundred people started marching from Directors Park at about 9:30 p.m. Participants in this march started breaking windows of businesses, including the Nordstrom, Verizon, Nike, the Oregon Historical Society, and more. In addition to burglary and vandalism, individuals engaged in the crime of criminal mischief by damaging planters and applying graffiti. Looting was reported as well. Windows were also broken at the First Christian Church, a location known for their generosity in feeding over a thousand meals weekly to the homeless.”

The police made “focused arrests” in a nearly apologetic statement. Four people were arrested in the process for the crime they caused.
“Damage to businesses hurts our City. Our community has made it clear that it will not tolerate wanton violence and destruction” Portland Police Bureau Acting Chief Chris Davis said in a written statement. “No one is entitled to break windows, set fires, or attack police officers.”
The police formed a skirmish line and rioters had to leave the area.

This was the third night of rioting in the area. The Oregonian reported several gunshots from a car driving in the protest area.
Antifa riots also set the Portland Police Association headquarters building on fire, too. The police were warned of the planned “Direction Action” but they weren’t able to avoid the attack. One person was arrested for arson.
