In October, Illinois Democrats awarded Rep. Adam Kinzinger by redrawing his district, forcing him to retire.
In Illinois, Gov. J.B. Pritzker had promised to introduce an independent commission. However, he broke the promise because he handed the process over to partisan Dems in the state legislature.
In CA, one independent commission was in charge of redistricting. During the last redistricting effort, the commission created a map favoring incumbent Dems and damaged the Republicans.
Neither one person wants to see the good Republicans hurt or fooled. The Democrats are the evil people who will do everything in their power to hurt the good Republicans, and we have to deal with it.
